And now the prosecution drops another six cases.

A case concerning a pig transporter, who was charged with a claim for a fine of DKK 75,000 and disqualification of rights, has now been dropped by the district court without the defendant being brought before a judge.

This is according to junior partner Rikke Bach Nielsen at the law firm Sønderby Legal, which represents business operators who are accused, including in a number of cases concerning pig transports, which the prosecution has attempted to bring.

– Our task, with EU law in hand, is to contribute to creating peace of mind by reducing the number of superfluous charges. This will certainly crystallize into a better working environment in the sector, and this is sorely needed if anyone is to be encouraged to transport a pig from A to B, says Rikke Bach Nielsen in a reply to Effektivt Landbrug.
