Somewhat surprisingly, the case was appealed to the High Court, but after an additional two years of case processing and final court hearings over two days, our client won the case again, as a unanimous High Court rejected any claim from the opposing party. There was a lot of money at stake, as the opposing party&#8217;s claim for compensation for violation of the non-compete clause was very significant. Quite extraordinarily, our client was awarded such a large amount in legal costs that our client is held completely harmless for legal costs.
