Sonderby Legal is data responsible for the personal data processed about the client.

 


Personal information

In order to provide legal assistance to the client, Sonderby Legal collects and processes the following information about the client: Name, e-mail and telephone number.

If the client receives legal assistance as a private individual, Sonderby Legal collects and processes the following personal information about the client: CPR number and address.

In order to be able to provide sufficient and satisfactory legal assistance to the client, it may in certain cases be necessary for Sonderby Legal to obtain additional personal information about the client, e.g. tax information, wealth information, including wage income, debt, etc.

Sonderby Legal processes personal data about counterparties and third parties in cases that appear in the case in question.

 


Treatment

Sonderby Legal processes personal information about the client that is necessary in order to fulfill Sonderby Legal delivery obligation to the client.

In certain cases, Sonderby Legal will process special categories of personal data that require Sonderby Legal to obtain consent from the client.

 


Disclosure

Sonderby Legal only passes on the client’s personal information to third parties when it is necessary to fulfill Sonderby Legal’s delivery obligation to the client.

 


Storage

Sonderby Legal basically stores personal information about the client for 5 years after the case has ended.

In certain cases, Sonderby Legal keeps the client’s personal information for up to 10 years after the end of the case, if it is deemed necessary for Sonderby Legal’s advisory responsibility.

 


Measures

Sonderby Legal has adopted an internal information security policy, which contains instructions and measures that protect the client’s personal information against unauthorized publication, unintentional access, etc.

In the event of a security breach that involves a high risk for the client, Sonderby Legal will notify the client of the security breach as soon as possible under the circumstances.

 


Rights

Clients, counterparties and other third parties for whom Sonderby Legal processes personal data may request Sonderby Legal to change or update their personal data, gain access to the personal data or have Sonderby Legal delete all or part of the personal data.

Clients, counterparties and other third parties about whom Sonderby Legal processes personal data can complain about the processing of their personal data to the Danish Data Protection Agency via e-mail to the Danish Data Protection Agency’s main mailbox dt@datatilsynet.dk or via its digital mailbox at www.borger.dk.
